Night 3 of the Jamboree

Once again, Joey Schaefer Racing drew a starting spot in the heat race deep in the field. After starting 10th in his heat, Schaefer moved forward to finish 6th. That forced a B-Main run to try to make the 30-car A-Main. JSR missed a transfer spot.

One Spot Out on Night 2 of Jamboree

After a 4th place in his heat race, Joey Schaefer was forced to run a B-Main. Schaefer raced to a third place finish. Only the top 2 advanced to the A-Main.

Jamboree - Night One

Joey Schaefer Racing drew a starting spot deep in their heat race. After starting 10th, Schaefer was able to finish 3rd, but that did not earn enough passing points for the team to make the A-Main. Schaefer was not able to grab a transfer spot out of his B-Main to make the main event.

Joey Schaefer Racing grabbed a 6th place finish during the United States Modified Touring Series stop at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in West Union.

USMTS Labor Day Recap

SUNDAY: Dodge Co. Speedway / Kasson, MN
Schaefer rocked in his heat race and earned enough passing points to make the redraw. He started 2nd for the A-Main, but the car was too tight, and Schaefer said he couldn't get the car to turn. He held on for 14th place finish.

SATURDAY: Deer Creek Seedway / Spring Valley, MN
A second place finish in his heat race landed Schaefer 11th in passing points - which was good enough to qualify for the A-Main. He raced right around 10th through the fast-paced 35-lap A-Main. Official finish 12th.

FRIDAY: Chateau Raceway / Lansing, MN
Bad luck in the heat race forced the number "2" to a B-Main. Schaefer sarted 11th in his B-Main, but a fell two spots shy of a transfer to the A-Main.

THURSDAY: Highway 3 Raceway / Allison, IA
The Labor Day swing didn't start very well. Schaefer was caught up in someone elses mess during the A-Main. Schaefer ended up on the hook and taken to the pit area ending his night all too early.
