Schaefer Makes Friday's A-Main At Nationals
Joey Schaefer Racing borrowed a motor from Troy Cordes, and he raced his way in to Friday's A-Main (won his heat). Schaefer finished 7th in his A-Main. He will have to race his way into Saturday's Super Nationals Feature Saturday night. Schaefer won his Last Chance Heat Race. That puts him into a Last Chance A-Main later tonight. On Friday night, Joey Schaefer racing finished 13th at Marshalltown Speedway (Marshalltown, IA). The next night Schaefer was charging hard for the win at the Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, IA). He finished 3rd. Another couple of laps might have made the difference, and Schaefer could have been standing in victory lane. |
