JSR raced the United States Modified Touring Series event at the Independence Motor Speedway. The Green Machine came home 11th.

Next Up will be a night of racing at the Marshalltown Speedway on Tuesday, July 1st. IMCA will be running the Stock Car Shootout, and modifieds will be a part of the night.

On Sunday, June 22nd, Joey Schaefer Racing hit the Hogan Memorial at the Benton County Speedway. Schaefer was in the redraw after his heat race. Starting 10th, he moved into the top five quickly, and he stayed there through the 25-lap A-Main. Schaefer would finish 3rd.

Joey Schaefer Racing raced Saturday night for their opening night. After strong winds damaged the Indpendence Motor Speedway, the tack was finally able to get to racing on June 21st. Schaefer took home a runner-up spot in the IMCA Modified A-Main.
