Joey Schaefer Racing has been waiting for Mother Nature to work in the favor of the racing fan. SO far in 2008, the team is 0-0 ... thanks in part to weather. Every time the team looked to hit the road, rain hit the ground.

During the first weekend in May (2008), look for JSR to travel to Marshalltown Speedway (Marshalltown, IA) on Friday night and Benton County Speedway (Vinton, IA) on Sunday night. Joey will race the Hoffman race car.

As far as the plan for 2008, the team looks to just race. They are not looking to chase points with any one series or track. The only points chase that JSR may look to compete in is the USMTS - Upper Midwest Region.

Joey Schaefer Racing is awaiting the arrival of a new Big Cock Chassis. As it stands now, it should arrive in time for the Memorial Day weekend swing with the United States Modified Touring Series.

JSR will take the "Green Machine" number 2 to the USMTS races. The team will travel with car maker Corey Dripps over those 5 days.
